No criminality suspected in sudden death at Bertram Creek Park

Police say no criminal activity is suspected following a sudden death at Bertram Creek Regional Park over the weekend.
Kelowna RCMP called Central Okanagan Search and Rescue (COSAR) and the BC Coroners Service early Saturday to assist with the incident.
Over two days, 25 volunteers searched the lakeshore, deploying K9 units, drones, boats and teams on foot. The effort continued until late Sunday afternoon, when authorities confirmed a body had been recovered.
Police have not released any further details and are asking the public to respect the privacy of the family. COSAR said this was its sixth deployment of the year.
