Rotary Pier Status At Kal Beach Still An Unknown

It could be awhile before The District of Coldstream can get a good look at the state of the pier at Kalamalka Beach.

Rotary Pier remains closed to the public and it`s not known what damage has been done by the flooding.

Mayor Jim Garlick says the lake needs to recede more.

“The lake level is dropping about one centimetre per day and we probably need it to go down at least a foot, so 30 centimetres.“

It could be a month before all the information is in.
