Area MLAs named to B.C. Conservative Caucus
The Conservative Party of B.C. has released its new caucus, featuring some local names.
Under Kerry-Lynne Findlay, the new leadership team also includes Macklin McCall, MLA for West-Kelowna Peachland, as the Official Opposition Whip, as well as David Williams, MLA for Salmon Arm-Shuswap, as the Okanagan and Interior Lieutenant.
The other appointees were:
- Heater Maahs (Chilliwack North), Interim Leader of the Official Opposition
- Sheldon Clare (Prince George-North Cariboo), Official Opposition House Leader
- Lorne Doerksen (Cariboo-Chilcotin), Official Opposition Deputy House Leader
- Reann Gasper (Abbotsford-Mission), Official Opposition Deputy Whip
- Jody Toor (Langley-Willowbrook), Caucus Chair
- Sharon Hartwell (Bulkley Valley-Stikine), Caucus Representative to the Conservative Party of B.C. Board
- Anna Kindy (North Island), Vancouver Island Lieutenant
- Ian Paton (Delta South), Lower Mainland Lieutenant
- Lawrence Mok (Maple Ridge East), Steve Kooner (Richmond-Queensborough), and Brent Chapman (Surrey South), Stakeholder Relations Lieutenants
