Utility upgrade work to disrupt traffic in South Vernon

The City of Vernon will be undertaking a utility upgrade project that will cause some minor traffic delays Monday.

Crews will be doing utility upgrades on a portion of 43rd Street between 19th and 24th Avenues on November 24.

The work will require the road to be closed from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., with the city saying it should be a one-day project.

Motorists were advised to expect some minor delays, and to avoid the area if possible.
