Aberdeen Road closure extended due to delays

Delays have caused a major road in Coldstream to remain closed.

The District of Coldstream said unexpected delays in construction of the sanitary sewer project has forced the closure of Aberdeen Road to be extended.

“The District’s contractor, Chapman Industries, is monitoring the weather and coordinating with the paving contractor to complete paving as soon as possible so that Aberdeen Road may be reopened to thru traffic,” the district said in a media release.

The closure effects the road from Venables to Selkirk Drives, and there is no access to Aberdeen Road from Middleton Drive. Aberdeen Road is still inaccessible via Highway 6.
