At last word, the owner of a tugboat floating aimlessly in the north arm of Okanagan Lake was on the way up from the coast.
The boat broke free early yesterday and began its journey north.
The Okanagan Indian Band reports the owner was bringing diving gear to make an attenpt to get into the water to secure the anchor before it can be moved.
The vessell is said to have a deep V hull which should see it get hung up somewhere before it could make its way to shore.
