Public warns of Sagmoen appearing on dating apps

A man who was convicted for violent crimes against sex workers has reportedly reappeared online and trying to connect with women.

Post on social media show Curtis Sagmoen, going by the name Trevor, on dating sites and apps.

People on social media shared photos from the dating profile and warned others to avoid the man at all costs.

Sagmoen has a long history of convictions, including violence against sex trade workers and breaching orders. His cases have drawn protests outside courthouses.

Vernon North Okanagan RCMP told Vernon Matters that it had been made aware of the social media posts and asked anyone with specific information to report it to police so it could be investigated.
