Transit customers in Vernon can now use the Transit Trip Planner.

The tool can help you find the most direct routes, connections, and times.

“The BC Transit Trip Planner is a public transportation planning tool that combines the latest BC Transit schedule and route information with the power of Google Maps,” says Jonathon Dyck, Transit’s Communications Manager. “There you can type in your trip origin, destination, date and time of departure or desired arrival, and the most direct bus routes, connections and timings will be automatically calculated for you.”

You can access it at bctransit.com/vernon.

In 2015/16, BC Transit provided over 445,000 passenger trips in Vernon.

“The introduction of BC Transit Trip Planner will encourage ridership growth, demonstrating that public transportation is a convenient and reliable alternative to single occupancy vehicles,” says Dyck.
