Crash on Highway

Update 3 pm:

It’s believed the crash has been cleared, and there were no serious injuries.

There’s been some trouble with traffic on Highway 97 north of Vernon this afternoon.

Two vehicles were involved in a crash near Swan Lake Nurseryland in the southbound lane around 2 pm.

One of the vehicles went off the road.

The crash happened just minutes after normal four lane traffic re-opened on Highway 97 by Polson Park in Vernon, site of a sinkhole since Tuesday.
