Downtown Dollarama broken into Friday morning

The Dollarama in downtown Vernon was broken into early Friday morning.

Vernon North Okanagan RCMP said the front door to the store on 31st Street was smashed, and staff who arrived to open for the day discovered the damage and reported it to police around 7:20 a.m. Oct. 25.

No one was inside the building when staff arrived.

Investigators determined that the store was broken into around 3 a.m. Friday, and the suspect entered the building and stole some merchandise.
