Armstrong RCMP Seek Suspicious Driver

RCMP in Armstrong are looking for a man reported to have stopped his truck and offered a ride to a child.

The alleged incident happened last Wednesday in the area of Noble Road in Spallumcheen.

Police say an elementary grade student was riding a bicycle when the man stopped.

The youth didn’t know him and left.

The vehicle is described as a white GMC pickup with some rust around the box and there was a dent in the rear bumper.

The box of the truck also had a black bar that could have been either a roll bar or off road light bar.

The driver was described as having a darker complexion, a small moustache, short hair, and as being in his 30s.

He also had a tattoo on on his arm of a cat or tiger with a skull and also had an ear piercing.

Vernon North Okanagan RCMP says it appears to be an isolated incident.

They would like to speak with man in order to fully determine the motive of the exchange with the student.
