Portion of road to be closed for construction

May 22, 2024 | 1:30 PM

As part of an ongoing road rehabilitation project, a portion of a Spallumcheen road will be temporarily closed.

The Township of Spallumcheen said crews are doing a full depth rebuild and road reclamation on a section of Back Enderby Road between Highway 97A and Mountain View Rd.

The work will require the road to be closed to all traffic on Monday, May 27, from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Traffic will be detoured around the work via Mountain View Road, and once the work that day is complete the road will reopen to single-lane alternating traffic.

Perimeter flagging and signage will be posted around the site of the work and area motorists are asked to follow all directions and be cautious of equipment on site.
