Concern For Missing Woman

RCMP are seeking help to to locate a missing Vernon woman.

Melvina Maruska was last seen at 10 this morning in the 7000 block of Apex Drive in the foothills area of Vernon.

Ms. Maruska is Caucasian, 80 years old, 5’6″ tall, 100 pounds, with grey hair and blue eyes.

She was last seen wearing a black dark jacket.

“Police are very concerned for Melvina Maruska’s health and well-being,” says Sgt. Tory Romailler.

“Anyone with information on her whereabouts is urged to contact the Vernon RCMP or Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).”
