Coldstream Activates Emergency Ops Centre
The District of Coldstream has activated its Emergency Operations Centre to a level one.
The District says it’s to monitor the impact of the current weather front moving through the area, which is expected to bring strong winds and showers.
“Our EOC activation is strictly precautionary at this point,” CAO Trevor Seibel tells Kiss FM. “We continue to monitor District infrastructure (such as) roads, sanitary, etc.”
Residents are asked to take measures to protect their private property.
