The Regional District of North Okanagan will soon be going ahead with creating a trail between BX Ranch Park and Mutrie Park.
The Regional District of North Okanagan will soon be going ahead with creating a trail between BX Ranch Park and Mutrie Park.
Last year the District bought 166 acres of ranch land with 36 acres of it destined for the new trail park.
Board Chair Bob Fleming says the new trail will be a great walk
” Through the first, up the hill over to Mutrie Park and actually it’s going to continue around 39th, completely circumnavigate the property on the south side of the BX Ranch property and end up on East Vernon Road.
A fence also needs to go up
” A fence dividing farm from park is erected and those contracts will go out this spring.”
When it’s complete the trail will eventually link up with Gray Canal Trail.
