UPDATE: Water repairs completed in Okanagan Landing

Nov 18, 2022 | 3:15 PM

UPDATE: 3:15 p.m.

City of Vernon crews have finished an emergency water main valve repair in the Okanagan Landing area.

“Water service is now being restored to nearby properties,” a city news release stated. “Service is expected to be operational for all customers by 6:00 p.m.”

Residents that experienced the water service interruption may notice turbidity (cloudiness) or air in their tap water. If you experience either of these things, the advice is to run a cold water tap at a low volume until the water has cleared.

“The City would like to thank all customers who have been impacted by this service interruption for their patience and understanding while these repairs were being made,” the release said.
