COVID-19 outbreak declared in Kelowna

Interior Health has declared a COVID-19 outbreak at a long-term care facility in Kelowna.

The outbreak was declared at the Spring Vallery Care Centre’s Orchard, Vintage, and Sun Valley Units Friday, Oct. 21.

As of the time of publication, it is not known how many people are infected with the virus, whether both staff and residents are infected, or if there have been any hospitalizations or deaths linked to the outbreak.
