RDNO offices to close for Day of Mourning

The Regional District of North Okanagan will close its office Monday, Sept.19, to mark the Day of Mourning for Queen Elizabeth II.

While the administrative office on Aberdeen Road in Coldstream will be shut down, all RDNO diversion and disposal facilities and transfer stations will be open with regular summer hours on that day.

The RDNO is following the lead of the federal and provincial governments in marking the one-time national holiday.

The City of Vernon and the District of Coldstream have previously announced their municipal buildings will be closed Monday.
