Cyclist injured in morning crash  

A cyclist was injured in a crash on Highway 6 Monday morning.

Emergency Health Services said paramedics were called out around 8:43 a.m. after receiving a report of a cyclist being struck by a vehicle on the highway near Middleton Way.

“One ambulance with primary care paramedics attended the scene,” Brian Twaites, BCEHS Paramedic Public Information Officer, stated.

“Paramedics provided emergency medical care and transported one patient to the hospital in stable condition.”
