B.C. NDP raises nearly $3.6 million in 2021

The B.C. New Democrat Party raised 43 per cent more funds through political contributions than all other parties combined last year.

The NDP brought in $3,595,882.86 in political contributions in 2021.

Comparatively, the B.C. Liberal Party raised $1,416,232.87 while the B.C. Greens raised $1,096,224.39 last year.

Provincial reports on political contributions were required by March 31, though the Conservative Party of B.C. was granted an extension to April 19 due to extenuating circumstances.

The Wexit B.C. Party, Boundary-Similkameen Constituency Association Wexit B.C. and Peace River South Constituency Association Wexit B.C. did not file reports by the deadline. They may file a report by June 30, but will face a $100 late filing fee.
