Trafficking charges laid after drugs found in vehicle’s secret compartment
A Vernon man involved in a violent hit and run in 2020 is now facing drug trafficking charges.
The investigation stems from the hit and run that led to a search of a vehicle by the Vernon North Okanagan RCMP’s Targeted Policing Unit in October of 2020.
That search resulted in the discovery of an after-market compartment containing four kilograms of methamphatamine and four ounces of cocaine.
