Performing Arts Centre ready for busy fall

The Vernon and District Performing Arts Centre wants to get the word out that it is back.

The facility has announced the fall SPOTLIGHT OnSTAGE Concert Series with five concerts confirmed for September and October ranging from diverse music styles to stand-up comedy.

To celebrate the return of live music after a challenging 18 months, VDPAC is using the hashtag #VDPACIsBack to share the excitement with Vernon and District.

“With the audience seated cabaret-style right on the Performing Arts Centre’s main stage, this unique VDPAC setting allows audiences to relax and enjoy a socially distanced show in an ever-popular and more intimate, but safely staged live performance format,” said Camillia Courts, Promotions and Marketing Director.

In keeping with current public health and extended Interior Health orders, all patrons are reminded of the province’s mandatory mask requirement for all indoor public events; and that proof of vaccination for COVID-19 (at least 1 dose) will be required of all patrons ages 12 & up, to attend VDPAC’s live events.

Mike Delamont will bring his comedy act to the theatre for two shows Sept 17.
