Project will close Coldstream boat launch for six months

Boaters will not be able to use the Kalavista boat launch in Coldstream as of next week

The District of Coldstream has announced a project to upgrade the Kalavista sanitary lift station and force main will start on Monday, September 13.

“To facilitate this project, the Kalavista boat launch will be closed from September 13, 2021 to March 31, 2022. Effective September 13, all boat users will need to use the Kinloch boat launch or Kekuli boat launch to access Kalamalka Lake,” stated a media release from Trevor Seibel, chief administrative officer.

Signs will be posted at the Kalavista boat launch advising of this closure.
