One day closure

Part of Bella Vista Road closed Thursday

Motorists using Bella Vista Road in Vernon may need to take a detour Thursday (Sept. 3), as city crews install a sanitary utility.

The one-day road closure will take place between Sunnyview Road and Orchard Hill Road from 7:30 a.m. to around 5:00 p.m.

That part of the road will be closed to through traffic, but residents will still have access to their properties.

“The city apologizes for any inconvenience this disruption may cause and appreciates everyone’s cooperation and understanding while the work is being completed,” stated a city news release.
