Candidates Open Offices

The BC election is just over a month away, and the local candidates are getting ready.

Two of the Vernon-Monashee hopefuls are opening their campaign offices this week.

Liberal Eric Foster holds his opening from 5 to 7 pm today (Thursday) at 3008 34th Street.

NDP candidate Barry Dorval will hold the official opening of his office at 1 pm Saturday at 3204-30th Avenue.

The other local candidates so far are Keli Westgate of the Green Party, Nels Harrington of the BC Conservatives, and Don Jefcoat of the Libertarian Party.

The BC election will be held May 9.
