Police Still On Site of Suspected Drug Lab

Police and health investigators remain on the scene of a suspected drug lab in the Vernon area.

Specialized RCMP officers along with Health Canada investigators have been at a home in the 8-thousand block of Silver Star Road since last Friday.

Cpl. Dan Moskaluk says officers have been gathering evidence.

“We anticipate that a full analysis of the materials found will take a matter of weeks, before we can fully determine what the full intention, and what they were producing in the laboratory,” Moskaluk tells Kiss FM.

Moskaluk says a male occupant was detained by police when they first go there, but was released pending further investigation.

“RCMP investigators do not anticipate to have further information until the full analysis of the evidence found is fully completed,” adds the Corporal.
