Jan 29, 2020 | 9:42 PM

A big third period lifted the Vernon Vipers to a 4-3 win over the Wenatchee Wild Wednesday night at Kal Tire Place.

Goals from Bel Helgeson, Logan Cash and Cam MacDonald in the third erased a 3-1 deficit and gave Vernon the key victory before a crowd of 1,951.

The win vaulted the Snakes into sole possession of third place in the BCHL’s Interior, one point ahead of the Salmon Arm Silverbacks and three up on the 5th place Wild.

JoJo Tanaka-Campbell opened the scoring for Vernon and added one assist.
