Long-time Hell’s Angel David Giles was sentenced to 18 years on Friday. The report in the Vancouver Sun says this is the longest sentence ever handed out to a B.C. member of the Angels.
He was handed the time for his leading role in a conspiracy to smuggle half a tonne of cocaine into B.C. almost five years ago. Giles was vice-president of the Hell’s Angels Kelowna chapter at the time.
