Police have confirmed a crash earlier this week in Lake Country led to a fatality.
A truck hauling a horse or cattle trailer jack-knifed in Oyama Tuesday, which officials said was likely the result of the driver suffering a medical event, possibly a heart attack.
Police are confirming the 65 year old male driver passed away, with reports suggesting he was from Lumby.
“I can confirm that unfortunately a 65-year-old man passed away. The cause of death will not be revealed nor will any other details at this time,” said Cpl. Meghan Foster of Kelowna RCMP.
