No luck in OT for Vipers

Vernon Vipers suffered their first overtime loss of the BCHL season, 4-3 to the Cowichan Valley Capitals Saturday night.

Tyrell Boucher scored 1:12 into the extra period for the win before a crowd of 802 at the Cowichan Community Centre.

Connor Marritt forced OT by scoring with just under two minutes left in the third period.

Reilly Herbst had another solid game in net for Vernon, making 29 saves.

The Vipers fall to 11-7-1-0 and conclude their three game road trip against the Surrey Eagles at 4 p.m. Sunday, pre game at 3:45 on 107.5 Beach Radio
