Some of world’s best in Vernon for Prestige Classic

If you’re looking to watch some top-notch curling this weekend, slide on over to the Vernon Curling Club which is hosting the Prestige Hotels and Resorts Curling Classic.

Club manager Dave Merklinger tells Vernon Matters there are four draws a day Friday and Saturday, plus the playoffs and finals on Sunday.

“Some of the best in the world are here again: Chelsea Cary, the defending Canadian womens champions; Tyler Tardi, the defending world junior champions; Jim Cotter (multiple B.C champion) and locals Mark Longworth, Kim Slattery and Morgayne Eby,” said Merklinger.
