Crews respond to water main break along Pottery Road

It was a wet ride along Highway 6 and Pottery Road after a water main break around 4 p.m. Tuesday.

“I heard it. I was working down in the driveway down below and I heard splashing. I went ‘wait a minute, it’s not raining,” said nearby resident Henry Piovesan.

He notified the city and said that crews came quickly to address the water main break.

Poivesan’s biggest concern now is that water may end up in his basement, but he said that city crews are going to provide him sandbags to prevent the water from entering inside.
