Kin Beach in Vernon is still not recommended for swimming.
A water quality advisory was issued for the beach on Okanagan Lake Friday due to high bacterial counts caused in part by the rainy, windy weather.
The city says more samples of the water were taken today.
“It generally takes a few days to get the results from the sampling and then the results are forwarded to Interior Health. We will remove the water advisory once Interior Health gives us approval to do so, hopefully later this week,” said Shirley Koenig, Director of Operation Services with te City of Vernon.
