Update 5:30 p.m.

BX Swan Lake Fire Chief Bill Wacey says it was very fortunate no one was seriously hurt given the damage to the vehicles.

He says two people involved were in shock, but there were no serious injuries.

Police were involved in investigating the cause.

The BX-Swan Lake Fire Dept. says traffic is now getting though the site.

Emergency crews are dealing with a multi vehicle crash in the BX.

Four vehicles were involved at Tillicum and Silver Star Roads around 3:35 p.m., with possible injuries.

Reports indicated an infant was in one of the vehicles but was not apparently hurt.

RCMP say traffic going up Silver Star Road will be blocked for at least the next hour (until 5:30).

Motorists going down Silver Star Road will be diverted onto Tillicum Road.
