Two Sources: Better Than One

Greater Vernon homes and businesses are back to being serviced by two water sources.

The Regional District says the Kalamalka Lake source was turned back on today after being off since last month due to annual turbidity issues.

All 60,000 customers had been Duteau Creek source since then.

“The decision to turn the Kalamalka Lake water source back on was based on reduced turbidity and good ultraviolet disinfection levels,” says an RDNO news release.
