Update: Crews Respond to Vehicle in Bush

UPDATE

Fire crews were rushing to a remote area this afternoon to a report of a vehicle fire in the bush between Predator Ridge and Ellison Provincial Park south of Vernon.

It took some time to find access to the site due to the terrain, but fire officials later heard from a couple of mountain bikers who told them the vehicle was not on fire.

Fire command was terminated at that point, and RCMP are investigating the incident with an unconfirmed report the vehicle may have been stolen.
