Lowest Gas Prices in BC

UPDATE: Vernon Gas Prices No Longer Cheap

UPDATE

Vernon no longer holds the title as having the cheapest gas prices in the province.

A few days after a price war had many stations selling for as low at $1.19 a litre, some stations are now offering regular for $1.55, a 35 cent difference.

One station even took it to the extreme, with the Esso on 34th Street selling for $1.63.9 for part of Thursday night and early Friday before reducing it to $1.51.9.

Most stations in the City are now at $1.46.9.

Kelowna prices range from $1.40 to $1.46.

There is a big gap in gas prices at some Vernon stations today.

Two or three outlets are selling for around $1.23 a litre while a growing number of others are 20 cents a litre more at $1.46.9.

Gas Buddy says the 34th street Esso and Middleton Way Petro Can are the lowest prices in BC at the moment.

The website says the average price in BC today is $1.46.9, while in Canada, it’s $1.27.

It look like a gas war in Vernon has bottomed out.

Pump prices in the city are still among the lowest in BC, but most stations who were at $1.19.9 a litre for the last two days, are now up to $1.22.9.

GasBuddy.com says the average price of regular gas in BC today is $1.47

Motorists are the clear winners by a mini gas war in Vernon.

The city has the lowest prices in BC as of today, according to gas buddy.com

Prices at some stations are down as much as ten cents today, $1.19.9 a litre.

That’s about 45 cents less a litre than what gas is selling for at many stations in Vancouver.
