BC Party Gets New Leader

A councillor from Fort Saint John has been announced as the new leader of the BC Conservative Party.

Trevor Bolin is concerned about red tape chasing away investment, and the impact of new taxes on families.

“It’s left families having to choose between fuel, groceries and utilities due to the extremely high cost of living. And a new carbon tax will increase the carbon tax on everything, and it’s time we look at getting rid of all these heavy costs on families,” said Bolin in his announcement.

Bolin takes over from interim party leader Scott Anderson of Vernon.
