Wanted Man Taken Into Custody

RCMP in Kamloops have arrested a 29-year-old man wanted for a series of crimes across BC.

Michael David Trosky was taken into custody on Friday.

Trosky was wanted for crimes committed in the Okanagan and Shuswap, as well as in Dawson Creek.

He is facing charges of evading police, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, prohibited driving, failing to comply, breach, theft of mail and theft under.

RCMP issued a public appeal for help finding Trosky in February.

At that time, police said he was wanted for his part in a Dec. 17, 2018 armed robbery of a delivery driver in Salmon Arm which led to a getaway vehicle ramming into seven vehicles in Enderby later that day.

Trosky is being held in custody and is back in court Thursday.
