Crash Knocks Out Power

More than 800 homes in Vernon and the BX were without power for about 12 hours.

BC Hydro says a motor vehicle accident caused power to go out around 7:30 Wednesday night for 851 customers on parts of Silver Star Road, L and A Road and Old Kamloops Road.

Hydro says service was restored just after 8 this morning.

We have requested details of the crash from RCMP.
