Armstrong Creek Dredging Wraps Up

So far so good, says Armstrong Mayor Chris Pieper, following the completion of dredging along Meighan and Deep creeks.

Pieper says the city is getting daily reports on the flooding situation and so far, he’s happy with what he is hearing.

Serious flooding of homes and businesses over the last few years led to the dredging, the first such work in about 30 years, after the city obtained provincial approval.

Pieper says culvert removal and planting will take place in a few months time.
