Job Fair Gets Rave Reviews
The first ever Employment and Business Fair in Enderby is being called an overwhelming success.
The Chambers of Commerce in Enderby and Armstrong-Spallumcheen, along with Community Futures North Okanagan put on the event Monday at the Splatsin Centre with about 500 people attending and 60 organizations taking part.
The fair was aimed at connecting job seekers with employers, and allowing businesses to showcase their products.
“This event exceeded our expectations and all of the organizers are so pleased with the response from both businesses and attendees,” says Connie Viszlai, business services advisor, Community Futures North Okanagan.
