Parking At Premium For Hockey and Expo

Vipers fans planning to attend Friday’s playoff game at Kal Tire Place are encouraged to car pool, use transit, or take a shuttle bus, as parking will be at a premium.

The inaugural Spring Expo, put on by the Greater Vernon Chamber of Commerce, with over 60 exhibitors, is also taking place in the complex, from 4 to 8 that night at Kal Tire Place North.

The hockey team and City of Vernon are offering a free park and ride service to take people from the Village Green Hotel parking lot to the arena, starting at 5:45, and running every 30 minutes, until 7:15 pm.

“The bus will once again depart Kal Tire Place beginning at 9 pm and returning to the Village Green Hotel,” says a City news release.
