Arrest Made After Interior Health Threat
RCMP have made an arrest after a threat was allegedly made to Interior Health staff in Kelowna.
The undisclosed threat was received in a text message this morning at the I-H building on Doyle Avenue, leading to police converging on the building for a risk assessment.
“We take all complaints of threats very seriously,” says Cpl. Jesse O’Donaghey. “An ongoing risk assessment was conducted, as police continued their investigation into both the source and nature of the threat received.”
An individual believed to be responsible for uttering the threat was taken into police custody.
