Trintec Outlines Plans For Town Homes

A development company has unveiled concept designs for over 60 town homes proposed for Coldstream.

Trintec Enterprises is seeking rezoning on land next to the Regional District of North Okanagan office from commercial to residential (C6 to R3), although they will keep part of the site for commercial.

“It will require a rezoning which will come to public hearing later in the process,” says Coldstream Mayor Jim Garlick. “They will leave the front part of their property next to the highway as commercial, while the backside, they’re looking at making it into town homes and strata.

Garlick says the commercial components would be up to whoever develops the land.

“They don’t have actual store names at this time, but its commercial.  They’ve laid out the roadway, what it would look like. They’ll be a new road put in, which will join up with Aberdeen Road so there will be a through traffic flow onto Sarsons and from the highway coming in and around to Aberdeen.”
