Vernon Set For Reservation Stop on New B

Vernon Set For “Reservation Stop” on New Bus Route

Oct 18, 2018 | 3:20 PM

An Alberta bus company is trying to secure pick-up and drop-off locations after getting provincial approval to service three routes in southern BC.

EBus is targeting Nov. 1st to start service between Kelowna and Kamloops, Kelowna to Vancouver, and Kamloops to Vancouver.

The company’s director of business development, John Stepovy, says Vernon would be a by-reservation stop.

“We do anticipate we’ll likely be stopping there all the time. It’s a busy hub and market for us, and there will be a defined stop and pick up time.”

Stepovy says no locations or ticket prices have been finalized so far, but they will post updates on their website at myebus.ca.

“In most of the cites, we have two or three sites that were trying to work through the details on, so that’s still a process.”

Greyhound ends its service in Western Canada at the end of this month.
