RDNO rescinds evacuation alerts for select properties

Evacuation Alerts have been partially rescinded, with the Bradley Creek wildfire reclassified as under control.

The Regional District of North Okanagan (RDNO) lifted the alerts for the following properties in the Electoral Area B (BX/Swan Lake).

  • 570, 576, 590, 610, 614, 620, 640, 644, 664, 668, 678 Irish Creek Road
  • 17 and 65 Cain Road
  • 131, 252, 351, 425, 485, 631, 635 Nashwito Road
  • 10, 15, 50, 93 Banks Road
  • 79, 305, 311, 315, 464 Beau Park Road
  • 278, 221, 236, 267 Siwash Creek Road
  • 442, 503, 545, 550, 560, 651, 655, 659, 661, 730, 735, 809, 878, 890, 901, 930, 1001, 1070, 1075, 1135, 1195, 1470 Six Mile Creek Road

Though the evacuation alerts were lifted for these properties, the RDNO reminded people the wildfire risks persist and they should be prepared for future emergencies that could lead to further evacuation orders.

People are also encouraged to stay up-to-date on wildfire and weather conditions, and to sign up to Alertable so as to receive emergency notices.
