MLA urges residents to be ready for wildfire emergencies

Vernon-Lumby MLA Harwinder Sandhu is urging residents to prepare now for possible emergencies, including wildfires.

She says people should pre-register for Emergency Support Services and have an emergency plan and grab-and-go bags ready.

“Nothing is more important than your life,” Sandhu said in a media release, reminding residents to evacuate immediately when ordered.
