Smile Cookie campaign to support local survivors of domestic, sexual violence

Nov 17, 2025 | 3:25 PM

The annual Tim Horton’s Holiday Smile Cookie campaign is underway and is supporting the Archway Society for Domestic Peace.

The agency that provides supports for survivors of domestic and sexual violence will receive $2 from every cookie sold at the Tim Horton’s locations in Vernon and Lumby. Those funds will go towards bolstering the local programs and supports for those in need.

In 2024, the Archway Society supported 1,618 people, including 405 children and youth, who were experiencing domestic or sexual violence. The organization also provided over 5,000 safe spaces in their overnight shelter over the course of the year.

“This campaign is a reminder of what our community can do together,” Sherry Demetrick, Co-Executive Director of Archway Society, said.

“Each cookie represents care, connection, and a commitment to helping survivors rebuild their lives. We’re grateful to Tim Hortons for lifting up local families and to everyone who chooses to take part.

The cookies are available from November 17 to 23.
