The Kalamalka Rotary Club’s annual Dream Auction was a success.

The 41st edition of the annual fundraiser wrapped up with the gala dinner event Saturday, November 17, concluding a multi-week fundraising campaign.

Through the Dream Auction, the Kal Rotary Club raised a total of $242,479.

“Every year, we are overwhelmed by the generosity of our community,” Faith Wood, the event chair for the 41st Annual Dream Auction, said.

“It’s more than just a night out, it’s proof that when people come together for a cause, dreams truly do become reality.”

The money raised through this edition of the Dream Auction will go to support a proposed expansion to the Okanagan Science Centre.

“The Dream Auction represents the very best of Rotary service, fellowship, and the joy of giving,” Brian Reid, president of the Kalamalka Rotary Club, stated.

“From our sponsors and donors to the hundreds of volunteers behind the scenes, this night showcases what community spirit looks like in action.”
